Frequently Asked Questions
If you do not find the question you are interested in here, feel free to write to me
by email or in the section “Contact” – I will try to answer as soon as possible
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept Paypal and credit card as forms of payment. Payment
plans are available for original art and are arranged on a case by case
basis. Reach out and let's make a plan to get you your painting!
Tell me about shipping
All original art now ships free across Canada and the USA.
Prints, frames, and mats traveling within Canada or the continental
USA ship for a flat rate, depending on the size and weight of your
purchase.
Some
large original canvases may note in the product description that they
will be rolled to ship. This is to ensure a safe journey for your large
painting. In these cases, I prefer to remove the canvas from the
wooden stretcher frame, roll it, and disassemble the frame so it can all
be shipped safely in a much smaller box. These paintings can be
re-stretched at your local framer. Framers usually charge about $20-$30
per linear foot to stretch a canvas.
If you would like to ship internationally, please contact me directly for a custom shipping estimate.
Tracking information will be emailed to you once your package ships.
Pickup is available from my home studio in Airdrie,
Alberta, Canada. Select "local pickup" from the shipping drop-down menu
checkout and you will not be charged for shipping. I will email you to
arrange a time to pick up your new art. Remember to check your junk
email folder just in case!
How long will it take to receive my order?
Originals are often packaged
and shipped the same week they are purchased. Prints are made-to-order
out of studio and require 1-2 weeks for production. You will receive
tracking information once your package has shipped. Standard shipping
typically takes 5-10 days, depending on the time of year. If you
require rush shipping, please reach out for a custom estimate.
Can I return something if I decide I don't like it?
All original art and print sales are final, so please be sure to ask me for clarification if you have any questions about the items you are interested in purchasing. I'm always happy to send you additional images and videos of paintings to help you make a decision. We can even schedule a studio visit or video chat! If your purchase arrives damaged, please contact me immediately.
Can I make a special request?
Yes! If you have a request pertaining to your order, feel free to leave me a message in the 'Notes' section at checkout. I will then send you an email to confirm your request.

How long will an original painting or fine art print last?
My canvas and cradled wood panel paintings are made with archival materials and treated with a UV protective varnish. This will help to prevent discolouration of pigments over a long period. Paper prints are not varnished but are printed with acid free, fine art materials. If you want to help preserve the colour of your artwork or print (especially any fluorescent pigments), it is best to display the art away from direct sunlight. When framing under glass, UV-protective glass will protect your art from fading over time.
How do I frame a paper painting or print?
You can spend as much or as little on framing as you like. The most affordable option, of course, would be to re-purpose frames you already own or to seek out second hand frames. Another affordable option is to frame the piece in a pre-matted frame purchased off the shelf from a department store. If the mat included with the frame you have purchased doesn't quite fit the artwork, you can always have a custom mat cut through your local framer or through my website shop. I am happy to accommodate custom sized matting so please reach out if you have a request! Also, if you require a specific sized print to fit in an existing frame, I can do that too!
If you are concerned about keeping your art or print archival, I always recommend visiting your local framing shop. I can even ship directly to your framer if you include their address under the shipping information at checkout.
